Chemat has been working closely with Professor Nishimura to develop this novel nanotechnology. Guiding by Professor Nishimura in dental implants, Chemat fully utilized its expertise in the sol-gel nano process to innovative create a novel technology to bio-functionize the surfaces of the dental implants. The resulted dental implants have significantly improved performance. The technology was licensed to Biomed 3i and the dental implants are successfully sold worldwide.
